26th State Football Championship: Real Kashmir wins summit trophy

SRINAGAR: Real Kashmir Football Club(RKFC) beat DFA Srinagar by 2-0 goals in the last league match of 26th State Football Championship match played at TRC ground on Sunday. With this win RKFC has claimed the title trophy.

Real Kashmir FC took lead in the 4th minute of the match when striker Shahid put the ball in the net. Real Kashmir FC created many openings but could not penetrate the solid defence of DFA Srinagar XI. DFA Srinagar XI made several moves to score the equaliser and missed a real chance in 32nd minute of the first half when there players made a terrific move. The first half ended with 1:0 in favour of Real Kashmir FC.

The second half of the match started with dominance of DFA Srinagar making some splendid moves and attacking the RKFC goal time again, but were deprived of scoring by their energetic defences line. On the other hand DFA Srinagar went all Out in the second half to equalize, made some excellent moves but were unlucky to find the net. Both the teams exhibited quality football and enthralled the audience.

In 38th minute of second half Mehran of RKFC converted a free kick straight into the net to make it 2-0 in favour of RKFC The match ended with RKFC defeating DFA Srinagar 2 goals to Nil.
