SRINAGAR: Tehreek-e-Hurriyat (TeH) chairman Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai underwent an eye surgery, a party spokesperson said on Monday.
Sehrai was admitted on Sunday and discharged the same day, the spokesperson said, adding that the TeH chairman has been advised post operative care and rest till further check-up. Sehrai was accompanied by family and party members.
Meanwhile, Sehrai has paid tributes to Younis Ahmed Ganai of Chadoora on his second anniversary.
“He (Younis) was a young committed and noble young soul who laid his life for the great cause of freedom movement on 22 April 2017 and has put a huge responsibility on our shoulders to carry forward the mission till the dawn of freedom,” he said.
Sehrai also expressed grief over the demise of Molvi Peer Ghulam Rasool, who is also the cousin brother of Hurriyat (G) office superintendent Peer Abdul Rashid.
The TeH chairman expressed sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved family and prayed for the deceased.
