Mian Altaf’s daughter buried in Kangan

GANDERBAL: The daughter of National Conference leader Mian Altaf was buried at Babanagri-Wangat in Kangan area of central district of Ganderbal on Saturday.
Benazir passed away after prolonged illness at Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Soura on Friday evening.
The deceased was being treated for last couple of years at TATA Memorial Hospital in Mumbai. Benazir was admitted at SKIMS few days ago, where she breathed her last.
Benazir is survived by two minor sons, aged seven and five.
The National Conference President Farooq Abdullah also attended the funeral prayers. Party’s senior leaders including general secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Choudhary Muhammad Ramzan, Abdul Rahim Rathar, Muhammad Akbar Lone, Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar, Basharat Bukhari, Sharief Ud din Shariq, Nazir Ahmad Khan Gurezi, Manzoor Wani, G R Naaz and Mushtaq Guroo participated in the funeral prayers.
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti also visited Mian Altaf’s residence to offer condolences.
People from different walks of life visited Mian Altaf and expressed sympathy with the bereaved family.
