Hajin youth missing, mother appeals for return

Hajin: A 28-year-old youth from Hajin area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district has gone missing from home early this week.
Mohammad Akbar Dar, son of Ghulam Qadir Dar, a resident of Parr Mohallah Hajin went left home on Monday (April 8) for regular work, but did not return.
Akbar’s cousin Arshid Ahmad told Kashmir Reader that Akbar was a painter by profession and had left for his routine work, but did not return home in the evening.
His relatives said that after he failed to return they rang up his friends and colleagues to inquire about him, but were told them that his phone had been switched off since morning.
Akbar’s mother appealed his son to return home. She said that whosoever he is with, he should be released on humanitarian grounds.
The family has also sought help from general public about the whereabouts of their son.
A police officer said that a complaint has been lodged in the concerned police station and they are investigating the matter.
