Srinagar: A 22-year-old woman who was administered transfusion of the wrong blood group at SKIMS Soura six days ago passed away at the hospital on Thursday.
Mir Anjum, a resident of Bemina Srinagar, breathed her last at the ICU of SKIMS Soura this evening after remaining on ventilator for six days.
She was admitted to the institute on March 29 after she passed blood with stool.
Her family accused SKIMS Soura of infusing the wrong blood group instead of O+ve, following which she went into coma.
“She was admitted to SKIMS on March 29. She was infused blood of a wrong group on Saturday,” her family said.
