Stray dogs unleash reign of terror in Uri town, 5 including 2 minors injured

Baramulla: Three minor students and two middle-aged men were injured after they were attacked by a pack of stray dogs in Uri town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday.

An eyewitness said that a pack of stray dogs attacked many people in the town. In the incident, three students and two elderly persons were bitten and left injured, he said, adding that the canines have spread a reign of terror among school going children in the area.

All the five injured were shifted to Sub-District-hospital Uri for the treatment.

The injured persons were identified as Nargis Bano 18, Sayra Bano 8 Abdul Wahid 10, Reyaz Ahmed 45 and Ashok Kumar 40.
