KCCI expresses concern over LoC trade disruption due to Kaman Aman Setu bridge damage

SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) on Friday expressed concern over the disruption of LoC trade for the last 10 days as a result of the damage of Kaman Aman Sathu Bridge. About three hundred traders and thousands of people associated with trade are suffering and the fresh stocks have also got damaged causing the traders huge losses.
In a statement issued here, the chamber stated that earlier army had assured the concerned authorities of repairing and restoring the said bridge within 15 days but, as “no repair has been undertaken” so far.
The chamber in the statement has requested the state administration to “immediately arrange emergency meeting at Zero Meet Point to facilitate repair of the said bridge for restoration of the trade”.
