BJP convention urges party workers to ensure victory

SRINAGAR: The Bharatiya Janata Party Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday organised a party workers’ convention at Sheri Kashmir Park, Srinagar. Party workers from different districts of the Kashmir valley participated in the convention. The main aim of the convention was to strengthen ground for the upcoming Parliamentary election in the state. The BJP’s National Vice-president, Avinash Rai Khanna, said that the BJP has done all-over development not for only a particular region but of the whole country. “The Prime Minister’s vision is to develop Jammu and Kashmir state as a tourist hub, and the rush of of tourism that will follow will give direct benefit to everyone in the state,” Khanna said. He has given a clear message to party workers to become ready for the upcoming Parliamentary elections. “J&K has never witnessed such fast and unprecedented development before PM Narendra Modi’s government,” he said. He said that the previous year was a challenge to party workers, but they had done their work with full dedication towards the people of the state. “BJP will fight this election over PM Shri Narendra Modi,” he said, telling party workers to work hard to ensure the party’s victory in the upcoming elections.
