PCPG meeting held at Police Station Hajin

Srinagar: A PCPG (Police Community Partnership Group) meeting was held at Police Station Hajin which was chaired by DySP Hajin and SHO Police Station Hajin in which respectable citizens of the area especially members of Central Auqaf of Hajin town participated.
During the meeting, number of issues ranging from law and order, drug menace, road widening, as well as avenues for the growth of local talent and other social issues were raised by the participants. The participants were assured that their highlighted issues will be taken up with the concerned authorities for their early redressal.
The participants lauded the efforts of police to build a connecting bridge with the people and demanded that such interactions should continue in future as well.
Also a Public Darbar was held in Sumbal Sonawari, organized jointly by Bandipora Police and Civil administration.
The meeting was chaired by Sub Divisional Magistrate Sumbal, SDPO Sumbal, and Tehsildar Sumbal.
The Darbar was attended by many delegates comprising of senior citizens, village representatives and youths from different villages of Sonawari area. While hearing grievances highlighted by respected citizens, Sub District level officers addressed them on spot and assured them full support for the betterment of the society.
