Srinagar: Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM) Friday termed the attacks on Kashmiris as a shameful act.
“The way people of India reacted in the aftermath of Pulwama attack reminded us that they have not changed since 1947 and still continue to inherit a communal mindset,” a spokeswoman said in a statement.
“Pulwama attack yet again unmasked the people of India and their communal attitude towards the people of Kashmir,” she added.
“Meghalaya governors open threats to Kashmiris and calls for boycott reflects the kind of mindset that the people of India inherit,” she said.
She said that on one hand Beti Bachao Beti Padhao schemes are launched while on the other hand Kashmiri girl students were forced to leave and go back to Kashmir.
The spokeswomen further said that whenever Kashmiris come on roads demanding their legal right of self-determination, “the forces use extreme force to quell such processions.”
