SRINAGAR: The former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah on Friday appealed the Home Minister Rajnath Singh to issue directions to all the state governments to take care of Kashmiri students outside the state.
The NC vice president said that the Kashmiri students outside the state are “soft targets in a surcharged atmosphere.”
“My earnest appeal to @rajnathsingh ji to please issue directions to all state governments to take special care in areas/colleges/institutions where Kashmiris are residing/studying. They are soft targets in a surcharged atmosphere,” Omar tweeted.
