Srinagar: Tehreek-e-Hurriyat (TeH) chairman Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai on Thursday expressed grief over the “mysterious” blast at Pulwama school and said that the children and students are the “worst sufferers of conflict”.
“Due to the prevailing political instability and lingering Kashmir dispute, children’s here have grown up in the midst of abductions, encounters, bomb blasts, stone pelting, and tear-gas shelling,” Sehrai said in a statement.
“These children have lost their childhood, their innocence, and will continue to be victimised until the resolution of Kashmir issue is not settled down,” he said.
TeH chief also condemned the assault on Kashmiri students in Chhattisgarh.
“New Delhi is practicing all the methods of coercion, oppression and arm twisting methods to crush the people’s resistance. But let me reiterate and convey to the establishment that our aspirations cannot be silenced by use of brute force,” he stated.
