Srinagar: The strategic Srinagar-Jammu highway is through for one-way traffic on Thursday with traffic moving from Jammu to Srinagar. However, initially only stranded vehicles would be allowed to move.

Since thousands of vehicles are still stranded on the highway, an official said, today only stranded vehicles will be allowed to move. He further cautioned the travelers to drive slowly at Marog in Ramban-Ramsoo sector where a 200 metre stretch is narrow and in a bad shape.

On Wednesday more than 3,000 vehicles crossed the Jawahar Tunnel mostly carrying essential supplies to the Valley.
