SRINAGAR: Jammu Kashmir National Front leader Altaf Hussain Wani on Monday said killings on almost daily basis in Kashmir has turned the whole region in a mourning place.
“Every person has lost at least one close relative, friend or associate. All these killings are a direct result of the Indian rigidity which is continuously following the policy of Chanakya in the disputed region,” Hussain said in a statement.
“Irony is that New Delhi is fully supported by the local Mir Jafars and Mir Sadiqs who have sold their conscience against mere worldly interests,” he added.
Wani praised the “valiant” youth of Kashmir who “continuously display their bravery and resentment against the illegal occupation”.
He appealed the justice loving people of the world to raise their voice in favour of Kashmiris.
