Srinagar: Tehreek-e-Hurriyat (TeH) chairman Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai on Sunday appealed to people to observe shutdown on Feb 11 to commemorate the anniversary of Mohammad Maqbool Bhat and said “we have presented unparalleled sacrifice and now it is obligatory to safeguard them”.
“Let us fortify our pledge that we will pursue the path that leads to our ultimate goal of freedom for Kashmir and let us resolve that we will not fail in our endeavour,” Sehrai said in a statement.
Sehrai urged people to exhibit steadfastness and unanimity.
TeH chief also paid tributes to Maqbool Bhat’s mother – Bibi Shahmala for sacrificing her four sons for Kashmir cause.
