Four civilians among 11 injured in Srinagar grenade attack

Srinagar: Four civilians are among eleven injured in a grenade attack at Lal Chowk on Sunday evening, police said.

Militants hurled the grenade at abandoned Palladium cinema building housing CRPF camp.

A police spokeperson in a handout said that four civilians, four policemen and three CRPF soldiers were injured in the attack. The injured civilians have been identified as Humaira of Hairwan, Abdul Qayoom of Mandibal Nowshehra, Taliba Gulshan of Dalgate and Shadab Shah resident of Nishat.

The injured have been shifted to the hospitals for the treatment of their injuries. They are stated to be stable, it said.
