EDI organises programme for SKUAST-K trainees

SRINAGAR: Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI), Pampore in collaboration with Faculty of Forestry, Benhama, SKUAST-K organised one-day orientation programme on medical plants on Wednesday.
The programme is part of the 25-day-long skill development training programme for medicinal plants growers that began on 28th January and will go on till 21st February.
Programme in-charge, Syed Naseem Geelani delivered the welcome address. Communication Officer JKEDI and Coordinator for the orientation programme, Ishfaq A Mir delivered a presentation and a detailed report regarding activities of EDI, an official handout read.
As part of the programme, Aijaz Mulla, Trainer at JKEDI made the participants do a simulation to understand the business basics.
“The participants are 10+2 or above from Kashmir who want to start their own business,” it added.
