BUDGAM: A paramilitary trooper was injured after militants hurled a grenade at the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp in Namtihal area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Friday evening.
Budgam Senior Superintendent of Police Amud Kumar Nagpure told Kashmir Reader that suspected militants lobbed a grenade at the camp of D/43 Battalion of CRPF. He said that one trooper suffered splinter injuries and was rushed to SMHS Hospital in Srinagar for advanced treatment.
“His health is said to be stable and his condition out of danger,” the SSP said, adding the area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
