SRINAGAR: The employees working under National Health Mission (NHM) on Monday held a protest demonstration here demanding regularization of their services. The protesting employees from various districts of Kashmir valley assembled in Pratap Park and marched towards the Residency Road chanting slogans against the state government for not fulfilling their demands. The protesting employees said that the protest is continuing from last 14 days and will be continued till the government don’t take any decision regarding their demands. “We will continue our protest until we are not given assurance from the government that the required action will be taken,” said Altaf Ahmad Bhat, vice president of NHM Association of Kashmir province. He said the government should implement the Supreme Court directions “equal pay for equal work” till they frame a regularisation policy for them. “We are demanding issues of job security, financial security and social security from the government,” he added.
