Srinagar: Muslim League on Friday condemned the arrest of its leader Ab. Ahad Parra, saying “harassment of common people and pro-freedom leaders has no legal or moral justification.”
“It is a grave human rights violation,” the spokesperson said in a statement.
“These oppressive measures can’t break the resolve of resistance camp and instead will further strengthen their resolve to fight for the resolution of Kashmir,” he added.
The statement further said that ML leader Mohammad Rafiq Ganaie called for the early release of all pro-freedom leaders and activists, and appealed to the human rights bodies to come forward and take note of these “illegal detentions”.
