BGSBU organises week-long STC on ‘Artificial Intelligence and Optimisation’

RAJOURI: Department of Computer Sciences, BGBSU (Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University) organised AICTE recognised one-week short term course on ‘Artificial Intelligence and Optimisation’ in association with Department of Electrical Engineering, NITTTR, Chandigarh.
More than 70 participants including faculty members, scholars and students from various departments of the university participated in the workshop, an official handout read.
The short term course (STC) was inaugurated by the Prof Shimi S L, Department of Electrical Engineering, NITTTR Chandigarh. She welcomed all the Nodal Centres participating in STC through ICT.
Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof Javed Musarrat conveyed his best wishes to the department for the successful completion of the course. In his message, Prof Musarrat emphasised that such type of workshops should be organised on regular intervals, read the handout.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Mohammed Asger, Dean of the School, emphasised on the need of such workshops for knowledge enrichment of teachers and scholars, it added.
