Baramulla: The building of Old Hospital Baramulla was partially damaged in a fire incident on Sunday morning. Sources said fire broke out in one of the buildings of the hospital on Sunday afternoon, resulting in damage to a store and a prayer room. The fire tenders reached the spot and doused the flames.
The office of the Chief Medical Officer also lies close to the building. Few years ago, the main building of the hospital was completely damaged in a fire incident.
The government had also planned to make a Mother and Childcare Hospital (MCH) in the building and had released funds; however the department spent most of the money on repairing the gutted building.
