PAMPORE: Tehsildar Pampore Younis Ahmad Bangroo on Friday chaired a meeting to review preparedness of various departments of the district including health, PDD, municipal committee, public health engineering, police and others in view of the forecast about moderate to heavy snowfall in Kashmir Valley.
Block Medical Officers (BMOs) of sub-district hospital Pampore, AEE R&B, AEE PHE, AEE PDD, Secretary Municipal Committee Pampore, SHO Pampore and president Lumberdar were present in the meeting.
During the meeting, Tehsildar Pampore directed the concerned officials to keep their men and machinery ready to meet any eventually in view of weather forecast for the next few days. He further directed the Assistant Engineer Power Development Department (PDD) to ensure uninterrupted power supply to sub-district hospital Pampore.
All the heads of Tehsil level departments were directed to maintain their headquarters round the clock and not to entertain any leave of male staff till further orders.
All Patwaries and Lumberdars were directed to keep a close vigil over the situation and inform accordingly.
