Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Party Nationalist (DPN) chief Ghulam Hassan Mir on Wednesday slammed the Governor’s administration over non-completion of languishing of projects, saying the commitment of the government is not reflected on the ground.
Citing the instance of the incomplete work of the Administrative Complex Tangmarg in Baramulla district on which the work was started in 2010, Mir in a statement said it is an evidence of the casual approach of the government in completing people-oriented projects.
“The work should be started on this complex immediately,” he said.
“The inordinate delay in the completion of the work on the Administrative Complex has caused numerous problems to the people. They have to rush from pillar to post to get their work done, which otherwise should have been done close to the places where they live,” he said and added the severe wintry conditions multiply their hardships.
Governor Satya Pal Malik and Finance Secretary Navin Choudhary “should take note of this important project and sanction funds and work force to complete the complex to address a long-standing demand of the people,” Mir said.
