KU co-hosts 6th World Congress on Nanomedical Sciences

SRINAGAR: University of Kashmir is co-hosting the 6th World Congress on Nanomedical Sciences (ISNSCON-2018) which started on MOnday at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi.
The congress will provide a platform to scientists to share a common dais and directly interact with globally renowned academicians, researchers and medical professionals, including Nobel laureates, from the area of Nanomedical Sciences and allied fields, a handout read.
The 3-day congress was inaugurated by eminent scientists including Prof Talat Ahmad, Vice Chancellor University of Kashmir.
Meanwhile, the University of Kashmir, led by the Department of Nanotechnology, will conduct a day-long technical session on “Nanotechnology in Drug and Vaccine Development” in the congress on Jan 9, 2019.
It is for the first time that the University of Kashmir is co-hosting such an international congress representing almost 30 countries, it added.
