Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chief Muhammad Yasin Malik on Sunday paid tributes to 1993 Sopore massacre victims, saying today when we all are recalling the sacrifices of these martyrs, “we pledge to take forward their mission at every cost”.
In a statement, Malik said: “To this date, no one has been penalized or booked, and instead Indian rulers are always seen busy in supporting and defending these killers.”
“So-called rulers, who always boast about their democracy, harass political activists and have turned the lives of thousands into hell,” JKLF chief said, adding “they should save some time to investigate and penalize killers in uniform and deliver justice”.
Yasin Malik expressed solidarity with the kith and kin of all and prayed for their heavenly abode.
The statement further said a JKLF delegation comprising of district president Syed Nisar Jeelani, Ghulam Ahmad Baba and others visited martyrs graveyard Sopore and participated in congregational prayers.
