Baramulla: A delegation of traders federation Baramulla headed by its president Mohammad Ashraf Ganie and general secretary Er Tariq Ahmad Magloo met Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Baramulla Dr Bashir Ahmad here on Tuesday and discussed various health related issues of the town.
In this meeting, the traders federation raised an issue that there are so many private clinics and nursing homes which are working without proper license and without proper equipment and they are playing with the lives of people.
The health officials assured that they will check these clinics and nursing homes properly and no one will be allowed to play with the lives of common people.
It was also discussed that there that mother and child care hospital should be functional at the premises of old hospital Baramulla.
The traders federation urged health officials to store more medicine at all the health centres so that people could not face more problems in this winter.
Block Medical Officer Sheeri, Dr Farooq, executive members of traders federation Hafizullah, and Tariq Ahmad Bhat were also present on the occasion.
