Hundreds throng Dargah Hazrat Syed Muhammad Janbaz Wali Shrine (RA) on 600th Urs

BARAMULLA: As Kashmir shivers from the increasing cold, people in Baramulla’s Khanpora in North Kashmir came out of their homes late Thursday night and joined the 600th Shab-e-Khani of the famous Sufi saint, Hazrat Syed Muhammad Janbaz Wali (RA).
Special prayers (Shab-e-Khani) were observed the whole night in Khanpora at Dargah Hazrat Syed Muhammad Janbaz Wali, Baramulla, during which speakers also threw light on Awliya e Kamileen Alihi Rehma and their mission of peace.
Caretaker (Mutwalli) of the said Dargah, Khursheed Ahmad Shah, congratulated people on the eve of the 600th Urs of Janbaz Wali Alihi Rehma, and in his massage requested the people of the world to pray for Muslims and for peace in world, which is the need of the hour. We should follow the teaching of Awaliya Kamileen, he said, for is the right way of life and mission towards peace and betterment. He thanked the district administration Baramulla and the Auqaf Islami, who arranged all the facilities for the devotees from the past several days. On the occasion, thousands of devotees were seen praying for peace in the overall world and most of all in the Kashmir valley.
