Impresses upon local functionaries to ‘highlight people’s woes’

BEERWAH: National Conference Vice President, Omar Abdullah on Tuesday visited Khag and Khanpura areas of district Beerawah and interacted with many delegations. While taking stock of the party activities in the area, Omar impressed upon the local functionaries to highlight the woes of people especially those risen after the recent snowfall. Omar said that there was much scope for tourism in the area that he “is alive to the difficulties of people in this area”, an official statement issued here read. He vouched for a developed Beerwah and said “the dream cannot be realised without the active participation of people”. “I look forward to more such interactions in the area and I am sure we together can make a difference,” he added.
