SRINAGAR: Muslim League Jammu and Kashmir has paid tributes to LeT militant commander Naveed Jatt, his associate and slain Redwani militants who were killed in two separate gunfights.

“They are sacrificing their precious lives for our future and their sacrifices won’t go waste or unnoticed,” a League spokesperson said in a statement issued here.

He said: “We have been deprived of freedom right and added that our youth lay their lives to end the age-old slavery of their nation, putting a huge responsibility on our shoulders to honour these sacrifices and take a mission to its logical end.”

The spokesperson said the biggest tribute to these sacrifices would be to respect them by taking them to the logical conclusion.

He said the UN resolutions form base and guarantee the peaceful and amicable solution of the issue as per the aspirations of people of Jammu and Kashmir.

Meanwhile, a League delegation led by its general secretary Mohammad Rafiq Ganaie visited Redwani and Arwani to participate in the last rites of slain militants. “The delegation extended heartfelt condolences and sympathies with the family members of the slain persons and prayed for peace to the departed souls,” the spokesperson added.
