Muslim League pays tribute to slain militants

SRINAGAR: Muslim League Jammu Kashmir has paid tributes to militants killed in a gunfight with government forces at Bijbehara, Anantnag.

A spokesperson in a statement said that a high level delegation of Muslim League visited Arwani, Bijbehara and Poshwar Khanabal and participated in the funeral prayers of the slain.

League’s senior leader M Rafiq Ganaie led the funeral prayers of Azad Ahmad Malik and addressed people there.

“Our youth and scholars are sacrificing their lives for the sacred Kashmir cause. India cannot silence the voices of Kashmiris through use of brute force. The unprecedented sacrifices of Kashmiri people will not go waste,” Ganaie, as per spokesperson said.
