SRINAGAR: Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Thursday said that Indian democracy is more and more getting exposed in Jammu and Kashmir.
Mirwaiz said that the “murky tamasha of Indian democracy is being watched by the people of Jammu and Kashmir with disgust and dismay”.
He tweeted: “The murky tamasha of Indian Democracy & its local and Indian players gets more and more exposed in J&K, while people watch with disgust and dismay! No real democracy can ever flourish under forced control, it can only be manipulations & lies as we are witnessing for the past 70 years!”
Earlier, the Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik dissolved the state assembly as both Jammu and Kashmir People’s Conference leader Sajad Lone and former chief minister Mehbooba Mufti staked claim to form government in the state.
