Forces fire gunshots after observing suspicious movement

PULWAMA: Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel stationed at Newa area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday evening fired several gunshots after observing suspicious movement, sources told Kashmir Reader.
The camp has been attacked by militants several times in past.
Reports said panic gripped in Newa village and adjoining villages after gunshots were heard near CRPF camp.
SSP Pulwama Chandan Kohli told Kashmir Reader that the security personnel observed some suspicious movement near Newa camp.
An alert sentry fired few rounds in the air from the camp, he said, adding that no loss of life or injury was reported.
