South Kashmir: Two more youth critically injured in Shopian clashes; one with bullet, another with pellets in head

Srinagar: Two more youth have been shifted to Srinagar from Shopian after they were critically injured in clashes with government forces Tuesday morning.

Sources said that one of the two has been hit with a bullet in his leg  while another was hit with pellets in the head in Nadigam village of southern Kashmir’s Shopian district.

Earlier, two girls were hit with bullets by government forces while clashes were going on at Nadigam.

One of the two girls suffered a bullet injury in her arm while another was hit in her hand. The two were also shifted to Srinagar hospital for treatment.

Intense clashes erupted in the village after youths clashes with government forces in the village even as a gunfight ensued in the village.

Four militants and a para-commando were killed in the gunfight. Three other forces personnel were injured.
