Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) on Sunday paid tributes to Farooq Ahmad Khan @ Pupa Dar of Anantnag on his anniversary.
“These martyrs are our real heroes who have rendered sacrifices to secure our future and no Kashmiri can ever turn a blind eye to their struggle and sacrifices,” a JKLF spokesman said in a statement.
He said a JKLF delegation led by its vice chairman Advocate Bashir Ahmad Bhat participated in a congregational meeting held for Khan. Bhat was accompanied by JKLF district president Muhammad Ishaaq Ganie and others.
Terming Khan as a “gallant son of soil”, JKLF leader said: “Forces and authorities have pursued a policy of choking every space on peaceful politics which is only promoting violence and pushing Kashmiri youth to the wall.”
