Srinagar: Over 2.25 lakh students have appeared in annual examination for class 10th, 11th and 12th in 2500 centres in the three divisions –Kashmir, Jammu and Ladakh, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) said on Friday.
The annual regular examination 2018 which commenced from October 22nd concluded on November 15th, the statement said.
“The examination could not be conducted in Kishtwar town scheduled on November 11 due to curfew,” it reads, “and will be held on November 16th.”
Some candidates in Gurez region of the valley could not appear in the examination onNovember 3rd due to inclement weather, the Board said.
The statement further said that Board of School Education has decided to conduct the re-examination of such students very soon. “Besides the BoSE has received representations fromsome students that they have missed the examination due to some confusion in the timing and date sheet. BoSE will consider their representations for re-examination of the missed papers, iffound genuine,” it added.
The result of these examinations will be declared soon, the statement said.
