Jama’at chief-led delegation meets Geelani

SRINAGAR: A delegation of Jama’at-e-Islami led by its chief Dr Abdul Hamid Fayaz met Hurriyat (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani at his Hyderpora residence to condole the demise of his son-in-law.
A Jama’at spokesman in a statement said the delegation met Geelani and expressed condolences on the death of his son-in-law Ghulam Hassan Makhdoomi who died at SKIMS on Tuesday.
The delegation comprised Faheem Mohammad Ramzan (Secretary General), Nazir Ahmad Raina (Guidance Bureau head), Advocate Zahid Ali (Political Bureau head) and Reyaz Ahmad Nadvi (Secretary to Amir-e-Jama’at).
“The delegation also enquired about the health condition of the veteran leader and prayed for the eternal peace to the deceased,” the spokesman added.
