BGSBU goes paperless, VC launches IT enabled services

RAJOURI: In a move that will ensure the ease of governance and expediting the administrative process, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) Rajouri has decided to go paperless.
According to a statement, the objective is to develop efficient working environment at BGSBU with computerised operations and make accurate data and information readily available to the users.
The Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. JavedMusarrat launched IT enabled services including online recruitment process and paperless eco friendly communication system in a function held at Vice Chancellor Secretariat.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Musarrat said that this initiative will help in speeding up administrative work and will result in saving money for the exchequer.
He said that going paperless will ensure higher productivity and cost savings for the university and will enable efficient communication and collaboration among academic and administrative staff.
Registrar Dr Ashfaq Ahmed Zarri, Controller of Examination Mohd Ishaq, Deans and Heads of various teaching departments and officers of the university were also present on the occasion.
