SRINAGAR: In order to improve and facilitate the education of mostly students and children from underprivileged sections of society, Navkriti Foundation has distributed and gave laptops to the computer lab and sports kits to students in a ceremony held at Rainawari Girls High School.
According to a statement issued here, the school has been adopted by the Navkriti Foundation, inspired by the desire and aspiration to improve and facilitate the education of mostly students and children from underprivileged sections of society.
Pioneered by the efforts of Asif Nabi Khan and Rajeev Kumar, founding members of the foundation, Navkriti distributed and gave laptops to the school’s computer lab and sports kits to the students, it said.
Navkriti Foundation was established on December 12, 2016, keeping in view the dire needs of the students from underprivileged backgrounds. “It has not only helped students in individual capacities but also by adopting a school, the beginning of endeavours that will be scaled in the future,” the statement added.
