Shutdown in south Kashmir’s Tral to mourn slain Pakistani militant

Pulwama: Tral town of this south Kashmir district observed a shutdown today to mourn the killing of a Pakistani militant killed in a gunfight with government forces on Friday.

All shops, offices and business establishments in Tral town remained closed today while traffic remained largely off the roads to mourn killing of Jaish-e-Muhammad militant Adnan Anwar Abbasi alias Adnan Bhai, witnesses told Kashmir Reader.

Adnan was killed in a fierce gun-battle with government forces at Dar-Ganai Gund village of Tral on Friday. A policeman was also injured in the encounter .
