Srinagar: A complete shutdown is being observed in Pampore town on fourth consecutive day Sunday against the killing of a local militant Mohammad Amin Mir.

Witnesses told Kashmir Reader that all shops and other business establishments remained shut while a thin movement of traffic was visible on the roads.

Amid heavy deployment of government forces, the traffic was plying smoothly on Srinagar-Jammu highway.

Mohammad Amin Mir was killed with government forces along with his associate Mukhtar Ahmad Khan of Budgam on Thursday in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
