BUDGAM: Police recovered body of a non-local man from Nasrullahpora village of this central Kashmir district on Saturday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Aala Lodhi, son of Lala Lodhi, a resident of Siraj Beli Distt Raebarali Uttar Pardesh.
Local shopkeepers told Kashmir Reader that on Saturday morning when they came to open shops at the market, they saw a man wrapped in a blanket lying on a shop front.
“After seeing this, I tried to wake him up, and open the shop. Despite repeated attempts to wake him up, he didn’t respond at all,” a local shopkeeper said.
On observing closely, we found him dead, he added.
Later the police was informed about the body.
SHO Budgam Rafi Shah told Kashmir Reader that the body of a non-local man was found on a shop front in Nasrullapora village in the morning. He said the man has apparently died of cold.
A team was sent to the spot to recover him and after medical formalities the body was identified to be of a brick kiln labour.
He was later handed over to other brick kiln labourers for last rites, he said.
The family members of the deceased have been informed by police station Budgam.
