Srinagar: The Muslim League while paying tributes to the slain Budgam militants on Thursday said “it is high time for international community to wake up and pressurise New Delhi to stop bloodshed in Kashmir”.
“A high level delegation of the party led by Rafiq Ganie visited Brasoo Arizal Budgam to participate in the funeral of Mukhtar A Khan and another delegation led by Manzoor A Lelhari visited Drangbal Pampore and participated in the funeral prayers of Mohammed Amin Mir,” the spokesman Sajad Ayoubi said in a statement .
He stated that Ganie while addressing the gathering said: “This gloomy situation has forced our high qualified scholars and intellectuals to take the extreme step”.
For the last 6 decades we have only shouldered the coffins of our dear ones, seen only death and destruction. Our youths not laying their lives for material gains, but to seek their birth right.”
Ganai, the statement reads, said that Kashmiri’s will always remember and cherish these sacrifices.
He said the incidents human rights violations here is alarmingly going up with each passing day.
