LeT, UJC pay homage

Srinagar: The militant outfits – Lashkar-e-Taiba and United Jihad Council (UJC) on Thursday paid tributes to the slain militants killed in separate encounter with the government forces at Tral and Budgam.
The UJC spokesman Syed Sadaqat Hussain in a statement said: “Despite having less ammunition, the militants prefer to sacrifice their lives rather than shaking hands with adversaries.”
He said that “the militants are benefactors of the Kashmiri and the sacrifice rendered by them have exposed New Delhi’s face at international level.”
Mahmood Shah, Chief Lashkar-e-Taiba, in his statement said: “The freedom fighters fought with great courage and attained the status of. The whole nation is proud of them.”
He further said that “the sacrifices of our youth are the beginning of dawn of freedom”.
Shah, the statement reads, also condemned the damage to the property by the forces.
“The courage, valor and bravery of our people is as high as Himalayas. Such dedication is exemplary and rare,” he said while referring to the emotion of people.
Mahmood Shah appealed the world community to take note of human rights violations in Kashmir.
