Urs of Sufi saint Shugbab Sahab commemorated in Pampore

PAMPORE: Hundreds of devotees from different parts of Valley participated in annual Urs of renowned Sufi saint Hazrat Sheikh Shareef Din Wali alias Shugbab Sahib on Wednesday at his shrine at Namblabal Pampore in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Eyewitness told Kashmir Reader that hundreds of devotees including women, children and elders from different areas of Valley visited the shrine to pay obeisance on the 413 annual Urs of sufi saint Shugbab Sahab.
The Annual urs of Khawaja Masood Wali (RA) and Shugbab Sahab is celebrated every year in Pampore.
The devotees also offered special prayers at the shrine. The ‘Shab Khwani’ (nightlong prayers) were also held at Khanqah-e-Moula Pampore.
The Ulema and Imams threw a detailed light on the life, religious services and teachings and spiritual strength of the revered Islamic scholar and saint who had devoted his life to the service and preaching of Islam.
