Family of missing Sharda University student stage protest in Srinagar, seek his whereabouts

Srinagar: The family members and relatives of the missing Sharda University student today held a demonstration here in Srinagar seeking his whereabouts.

The family members and relatives of Ehtisham, a B.I.M.T student at Noida’s Sharda University this morning assembled here at the Press Colony and staged a demonstration seeking whereabouts of the youth, who went missing from New Delhi on Sunday. The protesting family members of the youth urged intervention of government to trace their missing son.

“My son went missing from the Rohini railway station. His last phone call was traced from the same station,” Ehtisham’s father Bilal Ahmad Sofi told Kashmir Reader.

Ehtisham’s aunt, Shabnum Begum said that the family have registered an FIR at the Greater Noida police station as well as a missing report in the police station Khanayar

Among the four siblings, Ehtisham Bilal is the only male member in his family.

The family members and relatives Ehtisham urged former chief ministers Omer Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti and the government of India to help in locating their missing son.
