Militants attack army patrol in south Kashmir’s Shopian village

Srinagar: Militants on Tuesday afternoon attacked army in south Kashmir’s Shopian district.

Sources said that militants fired upon an army patrol in Meemender village of the district.

They said following the attack the government forces have cordoned the village to nab the militants.

Sources added that the attack was mounted at a place in an orchard of the village where army earlier had laid ambush.
