Srinagar: The Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik was released from police custody on Sunday, the party said.
A spokesperson in a statement while condemning the repeated incarcerations of Yasin Malik said, “New Delhi’s claims of being biggest democracy and choking space on peaceful politics in Jammu Kashmir are two contradictory things.”
Malik was detained on Monday when he marched towards Lal Chowk as part of programme announced by the JRL against civilian killings.
