Srinagar: The militant outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) chief Mahmood Shah Thursday paid tributes to slain Sabzar Ahmad Sofi and his aide Asif Ahmad who were killed in Srinagar encounter with the forces.
“Our heads may be slaughtered but we will never bow down. Such are the passions found in the youth today,” Shah said in a statement.
“New Delhi is resorting to using force so as to try to suppress the indigenous freedom struggle,” he said. “But it has always been unsuccessful in its tactics.”
“The world must observe that why a student from University opted to pick up guns,” Shah said.
