SHOPIAN: High speed mobile internet (4G) services were restored in southern Kashmir districts of Pulwama and Shopian on Thursday after remaining suspended for over a month.
Mobile internet was shut completely in the twin districts on September 23 after militant threats to policemen went viral in the region and three policemen were killed by suspected militants in Kaprin area of the district.
However, low speed (2G) internet was restored in the district on October 2.
It was after more than a month today that authorities restored the high speed internet 3G/4G in the twin districts, residents said.
